American high school athletes abroad a have much difficult time trying to noticed by college coaches then American athletes at home because of a lot of logistical reasons that are at no fault of the athletes no matter how good the athlete are. High School coaches in the DODDS system i have found out from my own experience and way below the power curve when it comes to coaching and most of them are not willing to change for their own athletes. It was funny how i asked a DODDS High school coach what he thought a prospect was, and he could not give a honest answer. What i noticed was a lot of American Coaches who had their own agenda and no agenda for their own athletes because the majority of them had no real clue how to get some of their athletes recruited by College coaches. Sad for me to make this statement but it was the truth and i saw this even at the highest levels in dealing with the Athletic Directors. In the pictures above you will see Malcolm lane who played for the Univ of Hawaii and through some of the things i did with TUSAAFSS we were able to get Malcolm Lane a full scholarship at Univ of Hawaii. We also helped a few other athletes but honestly i did this because i knew that these athletes deserved a chance and yes they have shown very well that they were good as some of the best athletes in the Nation.
