It has been really interesting to see athletes go to the next level when they never had a chance. The only thing that really gets me at times is when you help athletes and they are not greatful for your efforts to try to give them a chance. Point in fact Marco Kristen, who played on a German youth team was not even thought about on the college scene until i contacted some coaches in the United States. I filmed him did a lot of corresponding with people in the USA, who never had any idea of who this kid was all of a sudden were willing to take a chance on him. Ironically the German coaches told me he could never play college football and said that he would never make it. Well the athlete is now on the Univ of Delaware team and is 2nd in the depth chart at Univ of Delaware. What gets me the most about helping this athlete is his notion that he does not even contact me in regard to giving him this chance. To make matters worse others have come to the forefront to act like they were the one who helped him get to where he is now. I have worked with other European athletes and have come to the conclusion that i will never do this again because it seems that the athlete of today have no true morality. I remember the coaches who helped me out as i was trying to get into college and good or bad i would never think that it would be any different if someone asked me hey coach who was one of the people who helped you get to the position you are now. This athlete sticks out the most because i did not have to do anything for this guy and if i would have made a few calls he would be lavashing in the great hole of the German Football league.
